Snooker 9 ball RULES

(1) SNOOKER 9 BALL RULES ARE:: The balls must be set out in the triangle as follows: The first ball starting from the back of the triangle is as follows; green,red,red,red,brown. 2nd row;red,red,red,red. 3rd row;black,pink,blue. 4th row;red,red. front ball is yellow.

(2)The cue ball (white) should be placed in the "D" section for the break-off shot.

(3)The player who breaks off also has first shot at the reds, unless one or more reds are potted off the break. Then player goes for a colour.

(4) The yellow ball should be the first ball hit on the break-off shot. The triangle should be lined up on the blue spot with the yellow occupying the blue spot.

(5) Nine reds and six colours make up the total of fifteen balls in the triangle, and should be lined up as mentioned in rule one. Remove triangle before play.

(6) When potting the remaining colours after all the reds have been potted, they can be potted in any pocket, but only score the normal points for that colour,ie,yellow potted in any pocket scores only 2 points, but if potted in the yellow pocket scores 4 points.

(7) All coloured pockets where the same coloured ball is potted scores double points, ie, black scores 14 points if potted in the black pocket.

(8) There are 15 ball in the triangle, with 9 reds and the six colours as follows; yellow,green,brown,blue,pink, and black. All colours score the same points as in snooker.

(9) All normal snooker rules apply after the above rules are taken into consideration primarily.
