Snooker 9 ball is a new game for both snooker players and pool players. It was a game created by its inventor to help snooker players practice in an enjoyable game rather than just set up balls to practice potting and working on their positional play. It's basically a combination of both snooker and pool and must be played on a snooker table, with the added bonus of colour coded pockets. This will be explained later on in this site. It is a game to help snooker and pool players and not a game to replace snooker as that would be silly. Hopefully the colour coded pockets will be eventually used on a snooker table in the big events in the future and be of assistance to the commentators when commenting on the game, ie, by saying something like; "I think James will go for the yellow ball and pot it in the green pocket" etc,etc.
